Acupressure (Acupuncture without needles)
Acupressure aims to regulate the flow of Qi in the body by applying light pressure with the fingers and thumbs to specific points along the energy channels. It’s often described as ‘Acupuncture without needles’.By holding points in a specific sequence, energy and blood circulation can be increased where it is lacking or dispersed where it is overactive, restoring balance in the body. As a result, pain and discomfort is eliminated and underlying disorders progressively resolve.
Some people prefer a firm, strong pressure, especially in areas where muscles are tight, while others prefer a lighter touch. Our practitioner can adjust the amount of pressure to suit your personal preference.
